Zachary Fredrick Pfeffer

Zach was born on January 9, 1980 in Glenwood Springs, CO to Fred and Elizabeth Pfeffer, living in Eagle, CO until 1985. The family moved to Naples, FL and Wilmington, NC until relocating to Colorado in Grand Junction, CO in 1993. Zach and his sister, Tegan, attended East Middle School and Grand Junction High School. Zach graduated from R-5 High School and attended Mesa State College where he earned an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. He worked as a chef and for a time in home repair and renovation, finishing his career in the oil and gas industry.

Zach enjoyed fly fishing, camping, hunting, video gaming but most of all being a loving father, grandfather, son and brother.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Pfeffer of Grand Junction, CO, his sister Tegan Pfeffer of Centennial, CO; his sons Leland Pfeffer of Grand Junction, CO; Uriah Pfeffer (Jepsy Magno Pfeffer) of Harrisville, UT; Malachi Pfeffer of Grand Junction, CO; his daughters Maya Pfeffer and Eliza Pfeffer of Fruita, CO; the mother of his children Colleen Cherry Belmont; his grandchildren Eleanor Magno Pfeffer and Theodore Magno Pfeffer.

Zach was preceded in death by his father, Fred Pfeffer.

A Celebration of Zach’s life will be held in the summer of 2025.
