My heart goes out to everyone in Verna's family for the loss of such a sweet lady.  I met Verna at Mesa Manor; she sat next to my mom at dinner.  I was usually there with my mom, so not only did I sit with my mom at dinner, I sat with Verna; one on my left the other on my right.  I knew Verna for several years in this way, and she was such a sweet, pleasant, lovely lady.  She was always so polite and kind, even when she had a terrible headache.  She loved her coffee with cream, raw tomatoes, candy bars and those Cheetos.  I considered Verna a friend, and I am greatly saddened at her loss.  However, I am sure there are no headaches in heaven, and what a relief that is for her no doubt.   I hope wonderful memories of your precious mother and family member heal your hearts with time.  My sincerest condolences.
