Steve was born and raised in Albany, CA before he relocated his family to Clifton, CO in 1979. Amongst many of his accomplishments, he was proud of the time he served as a Navy Corpsman during the Vietnam war. Steve has been married to his high school sweetheart, Bonnita Wallace for 61 years. In those years they built a beautiful life with 3 children, (Lori, Paris & Nolon), 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Family meant everything to him and he loved to bring light to all of them through play and laughter. Steve was a caregiver and he showed this in the assisted living he owned, volunteering in his church and most of all - ministering to the Apache people. He loved the Lord and he was committed to living a life that spread Gods love in all that he did. His light reached the darkest places and lonely souls were drawn to him. Steve’s legacy will live on through his family as they continue the work he started. Steve lived a life worth remembering and his light will continue to shine on.
His Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 13th at 2pm at Life Community Church.
