Samuel Charles Kesterson

January 24, 1982-November 23, 2022

Sam was born on January 24, 1982, to Patrick Charles and Tammy Lynn Kesterson in Grand Junction, CO. Sam spent his life in the Fruita area, graduating from FMHS in 2000.

Sam was an avid outdoorsman. Sam’s passion was mountain lion hunting and raising his hounds. Sam cherished friends who enjoyed this adventure with him. He loved deep sea fishing with his dear friends in Texas. Sam also enjoyed working on and driving his badass buggy. Sam was a hardworking entrepreneur and owned many businesses throughout his life. Sam loved sharing his laughter and his infectious smile with everyone. Everyone who met Sam would have a story to remember him by. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Sam will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Sam is preceded in death by his father, Pat Kesterson; grandparents, Jay and Tana Ingelhart; and his grandmother, Lucy Kesterson. Sam is survived by his sister, Katy Snyder (Jason); brother, Skylar Kesterson; niece, Sailor Snyder; nephew, Kingston Snyder; and Mother, Tammy Kelley (Smokey).

A celebration of life will be December 9, 2022, at 1pm at KoKo’s Tavern, 152 S. Mesa Street, Fruita, CO.
