Roberta Arlita Stegman, age 88, of Parachute, CO passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. Roberta was born on February 15, 1936 in Honolulu, HI to William Hearson Sims and Sarah Thelma Loughmiller Sims. She spent her childhood in Long Beach, CA where she graduated high school at Long Beach and was a past resident of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Bucklin, KS, and has been a resident of Parachute, CO for the past 3 years. On June 15, 1997, Roberta married Alvin (Shorty) Stegman in Hawthorne, NV, who passed away in August of 1999. She was formerly married to Lloyd Klotz, which ended in 1988, who passed away in December of 2017.
Throughout her career, Roberta was a Cook and Housekeeper, and in the leisure time, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and crafting.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents William H. Sims and Sarah (Sally) Sims; her brother, Robert W. Sims; and her husband, Alvin (Shorty) Stegman.
Survivors include her son Robert David (Ronalyn) Klotz of Wichita, KS; her daughter, Cheryl Lee (David) Bowers of Parachute, CO; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
