Robert David McCarty

Robert attended Silverton public elementary school and graduated from Ridgway High School. Out of high school Robert joined the Marines from 1995-2001. After an honorable discharge from the Marines Robert went on to flourish in many different activities including, attending, and graduating with top honors at the Divers Institute of Technology (2002) and Harley Motorcycle Mechanics school (2012). Robert was also an accomplished snowboarder, surfer, adventure, entrepreneur, artist, poet and friend to all those in need.

He will be truly missed.

Robert is survived by his parents, Bill and Delight McCarty, his 2 brothers, Jesse and William, and his 4 sisters Bernice, Brandy, Dorthy and Ashley.

Services for Robert will be held Wednesday, June 14th, 1 p.m., at Veterans Memorial Cemetery Of Western Colorado, Grand Junction, Colorado.

Military honors provided by The United States Marine Corps, the Grand Valley Combined Honor Guard and the Patriot Guard Riders.
