Bob worked for me and learned How to use a trowel
He was a natural at it
I lived in Weymouth NJ at the time
We went canoeing and tubing on the river there

Dearest Luke and Abby, 

What a loss for all but especially you  two and Abby's adorable little family. Bob just rocked! Literally!! He was such a kind and understanding and easygoing smart man, and so talented. And boy did he love his family! We have been thinking of you guys nonstop. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you navigate these tough times. You've had way too much loss in such a short time. We still remember the day we met Bob and Miriam decades ago. We spoke with Bob a few weeks before his passing and he sounded so happy. He told us all about Abby's move and how well her family was doing and all of the good support they were getting from that side of the family. He also missed you guys terribly. He was also so thrilled with his new home in Whitewater with Luke - told me about all of the wonderful hiking you two boys were doing right out the back door and how great the house was and just sounded so happy. It was heartwarming! I can only imagine how hard these times must be for you losing both wonderful parents in such a brief window. Celebrate the love and support they gave you and the role modeling they provided. As parents we know fully that they just want you guys to be happy - simple as that! If you can make your way through life in the easygoing way that Bob navigated his and be happy, your parents will be content. Take the best of care of each other in the months and years ahead. And if you ever want to share a memory or hear a reminder of how amazing Bob always was let's talk.
