Randy was born on January 11, 1951 in Ida Grove, Iowa to Jens Jensen and Florence Reinke and was the youngest of six children raised on a farm in Battle Creek Iowa.
He graduated from Battle Creek High School and gained a desire to help people through the practice of Chiropractic. He then continued to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and graduated with honors in his class. After graduation he practiced Chiropractic for 40 plus years. He had a passion for helping people, not only as patients but as friends he cared deeply for. He loved to talk to people and shared his opinions and beliefs on many topics. His passion and integrity to those close to him was unwavering.
In 1968, he met the love of his life, Colette Jensen, in Holstein, Iowa. He was an avid hot rod car enthusiast and was always convinced that his 1959 cherry red convertible Corvette had something to do with earning her affection. Randy and Colette spent the next 51 years by each other’s side, gaining four children and seven grandchildren during that time.
In 1987 he moved his family to Grand Junction, Colorado in pursuit of enjoying the Colorado mountains and all the outdoor activities it offers. He shared his love of the outdoors spending many weekends with his family and friends, hunting, camping, four-wheeling, fishing and making memories they will cherish and carry with them forever.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Colette, and their children; Chad Jensen (Kristina Jensen), Teresa Detton, Abra Jensen and Rachael Flynn (Ian Flynn) and his adoring grandchildren; Megan, Sierra, Paige, Tucker, Liam, Sophia and Rowan. He will also be missed by his brothers, Donald Jensen and Virgil Jensen and sisters, Rosella Mitchell and Julianna Blume.

Randy will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
