Melanie Marie Moreno

Melanie Marie Moreno earned her Angel Wings on February 12, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. Melanie (Mel) was born on September 14, 1989 in RAF Upper Heyford UK to Curtis Michael Moreno and Stephanie Ann Moreno. Growing up in Grand Junction, Co, she loved watching movies, music, blueberries and fresh lemonade with mint from the garden. She adored animals and is probably hanging out with Shadow, her service dog, who went before her. Mel had a big heart, loved her family, and friends deeply and would never pass up the opportunity to stop, talk to and give to someone whom she thought was in need. As a little girl she was so eager to help and please, taking care of those around her, sometimes forgetting to take care of herself. Life did not come easy for Mel and she struggled. She was a fighter and a survivor. She came into this world fighting and went out fighting. Her suffering here on this earth plane is over. Mel will be sorely missed by all of us who loved her, fought with her and cried with her. In her last few weeks of life, she was surrounded by family and friends. During those last few weeks it was obvious to all that this young woman would leave behind powerful healing medicine for her family. Mel you are now free to be the LOVE you were created to be. You go fly girl.
