Mary Eleanor Logan

She was born November 14, 1932 in Haxtun, Colorado the daughter of George and Esther (Davidsen) Drake.

Mary graduated from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City Oklahoma and went on to teach Elementary School in Breckenridge and Denver, Colorado. She married Harry Logan in 1957 in Karval, Colorado. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2018. They lived in Grand Junction since 1996.

Mary was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was very active teaching there. She enjoyed cooking and needle crafts.

She is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Cary) Hileman of Colorado Springs; sons Eric Wayne (Claudia) Logan of Olathe, Colin Wendall (Jennifer) Logan of Denver; a brother Paul Drake of Moab, Utah; sisters Margaret Ellis of Scottsdale, Arizona, Martha Glazier of Conifer, Colorado, Marlene Dere of Lawton, Virginia and Pat Eirish of Olympia, Washington; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister Esther Lucas.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Martin Mortuary 550 North Avenue Grand Junction with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Committal services will be held at 1:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado also on Thursday. A luncheon will follow at the First Church of the Nazarene 2802 Patterson Road in Grand Junction.
