Mable had a diverse career path. In the 1970s, she operated a 75 lb. jackhammer at Granite City Steel. She then ventured into sales, first with Stanley Home products and later as an Avon representative for over 20 years.
She was a dedicated member of Canyon View Vineyard Church, where she found solace and community.
Mable enjoyed various hobbies, including puzzles, bingo, crochet, yard sales, anything Elvis, Christmas gatherings, and cheering on the Cardinal Baseball team.
Mable will be dearly missed by her surviving family members: Son Jeffery Cox (Randi) of Benld, IL; Daughter Loretta Cox (Jeffery) of Richardson, TX.; Sister Cleata Collins (Sammy) of Pomona, MO; Sister Elaina Crews (Delbert) of Mountain Grove, MO; Sister Linda Reed of Mountain Grove, MO; Brother Charles Dean (Brenda) of Mountain Grove, MO; Grandson Timothy Cox of Granite City, IL; Grandson David Anthony Cox of Granite City, Il; Granddaughter Morgan Carey of Richardson, TX; Grandson Brock Carey of Richardson, TX; Granddaughter Destini Smith of Benld, IL; and Granddaughter Dakota Smith of Benld, IL.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Leonard Marek, Significant Other Thurman Keeney; Father Douglas Dean, Mother Lucille Dean, and Brother Leslie Dean.
Mable's warmth, dedication to her work, and love for her family and friends will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
A service will be held in Mable's honor at Canyon View Vineyard Church (736 24 1/2 Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81505) at 10am on Friday, June 7th.
