Lillian Stevenson, age 68, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Lillian was born on July 21, 1953, in Durango, CO, to Eluterio “Rudy” Garcia and Primitiva “Eva” Abeyta Garcia. She spent her childhood in Delta, CO, where she attended Delta High School. She retired from the banking industry and was an avid lover of anything outdoors, arts and crafts, playing bingo, playing pool, dancing, and many other activities which she enjoyed. Survivors include her loving husband, Jason Stevenson, whom she married on June 28, 2003, in Grand Junction, CO; son, Tim Sanchez, of Delta, CO; daughter, Pauline Applegate, of Montrose, CO; her beloved canine companion, Stich Stevenson; brothers, Levi Garcia, Alfred Garcia, and Raymond Garcia all of Delta, CO; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eluterio “Rudy” Garcia and Primitiva “Eva” Abeyta Garcia; son Pat Sanchez and brothers, Paul, Tom, and Andy Garcia.
A Celebration of her life will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10am.
