LeAnne was born on September 26, 1950, in Vernal, Utah, to Robert Rich and Doris Merkley. She married Leon Noel on March 11, 1977, in Grand Junction, where she has resided for the last 48 years.
LeAnne worked as a daycare provider in her home, and later became the office coordinator for Hilton. She was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and the Colorado Avalanche. She loved animals and was a self-proclaimed “crazy cat lady”. She also loved country music, Dwight Yoakam in particular. Even when she had to walk with a cane, she still loved to put on her cowgirl boots. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids who in her later years were the light of her life. She was deeply loved and will be incredibly missed.
LeAnne is survived by her husband, Leon Noel of Grand Junction; sons, Justin (Suzannah Parker) Noel, and Matthew Noel, both of Grand Junction; brothers, Shayne Rich of Vernal, Utah and Jerry Rich; sister Kelly Simmons of Vernal; and two grandchildren, Ryan Noel and Avery Noel. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Rich; her mother, Doris Merkley; brothers, Bobby Rich and Alan Rich; and her sister, Brenda Denman.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Northeast Christian Church, 2751 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
