John Gabriel Patterson

John Gabriel Patterson was a beloved son, friend, husband, father, and grandfather. Born on Jun 25th, 1965 in Grand Junction, CO to John and Maria Patterson. John spent his childhood in Grand Junction with his brother Carlos Patterson of Thornton, CO and his sister Pilar Mank of Grand Junction, CO. He later attended Grand Junction High School. After graduation, John married Linda Green, they had parted ways later in life. John joined the United States Air Force, as a Chemical Fire Specialist.

On May 15th, 1998 in Eagle, CO John married Pamela Patterson.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Patterson. His two sons; John Patterson of Grand Junction and Dylon Patterson of Ft. Lupton, CO; his brother Carlos Patterson of Thornton, CO and his sister Pilar Mank, and his parents John and Maria Patterson of Grand Junction.

Throughout his life John was a heavy equipment operator and volunteer firefighter, he later became the chief of Eagle County Fire Department. John moved to Ft. Lupton CO where he enjoyed his passions of fishing, hunting, camping, loving his dogs (Baby & Gabey) and driving his quad around his property.

John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Pearl Patterson.

A celebration of life for John will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary & Crematory, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, Colorado 81505. Following the celebration of life will be an interment with military honors at 1:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Pkwy., Grand Junction, CO 81501.
