Joe Leon Martinez

July 4, 1946-November 3, 2011

Joe passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was battling Leukemia for a many years. He also served in the US Army from January 12, 1966 to October 17, 1967. He also loved spending time with his Family, but his grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy.

There will be a visitation from 8:00 AM to 10:00 then a Military Honors at 10:00 then the service to follow at 11:00 AM. There will be a luncheon to follow the service at the Grand Junction Christian Church.

He is surivored by his wife Celia and David Joseph Martinez, and Timmy J. Martinez. Three daughters; Lynnette Jackson, Dalia Garcia and Dalynn Werito. Seven brothers and six sisters, twenty grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by Patrick J. Martinez, Adan Lronirez, and Charlie Martinez.
