James passed on to a higher place on May 3, 2022. He suffered many complications after being hospitalized on April 7, and transported by medivac to Denver to have an advanced surgery performed to which his body ultimately succumbed to and lost the battle. He was 30 years old.
James had such a wonderful, kind, caring heart and because of that he was an organ donor. He has now given a lot of himself so that others may live.
He loved football, the Philadelphia Eagles, fishing, and camping. He loved kids and they were always drawn to him. He would have made a wonderful father someday.
James had the best sense of humor. He could always make you laugh no matter your mood. He was very gifted at sharing life stories with you that would keep you laughing until the end.
James was a wizard with technology since he was young. Friends and family were always asking him for help with their phones and computers. He worked basically at the employer, Pufferbelly Station, since he was a teenager. He made their famous cinnamon rolls along with other duties until December of 2020.
James was deep thinker and wise beyond his years. He was taken away from us way too soon. He will always be in our hearts and he will be sorely missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his uncles, Scott Burke, and Shon Waters. He is survived by mother, Michelle Fisher (Burke); step-father, Mike Fisher; father, Neil Waters; siblings, Kiara Burke, Seaira Hickman, Sadie Waters, and Alex Martinez; step-siblings, Joe Fisher, Jake Fisher, and Nick Fisher; uncle, Mark Foltz and aunt, Laura Burke; grandparents, Mickey and Sunset Burke and Mike and Elaine Verketis, along with many cousins, and extended family.
