Glenn Gilbert Bishop

He was born to Gilbert and Mable (Acton) Bishop on September 22, 1928, in Hybro, Colorado. Glenn spent most of his childhood in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he graduated high school. In 1950, he married his wife, Lola.

Glenn also resided in Colorado Springs for approximately 20 years prior to moving to Grand Junction. He spent most of his life as a mill worker and contractor, except when he was in the US Army. He enjoyed building and woodworking.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lola, who passed away December 4, 1980, in Grand Junction.

Glenn is survived by his sons: Bruce Bishop, Grand Junction, CO, and Gary Bishop, Columbus, OH; his daughters: Glenda Beckner, Denver, CO, and Letha Huddelston, Norman, OK; his sister, Corale Sinden, North Platte, NE; as well as nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A Visitation was held on Monday, September 11, 2012, at 11:30 am in the chapel of Martin Mortuary. Burial service followed at Grand Junction Memorial Cemetery.
