Gildardo Rascon Valencia, age 51, of Fort Lupton, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2024. Born on July 7, 1973, in Sahuaripa, Sonora, Mexico, he was the son of Gildardo Rascon Ferrales and Ydolina Valencia. Gildardo spent his childhood in Hermosillo, Sonora, before moving into a successful career as a welder in the construction industry. He found joy in his work as a metal fabricator and had a deep passion for horses, barbecuing, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Gildardo is survived by his children: Lalito, Fernando, Christian, and Axel, as well as his grandchildren Chris, Isaac, and Sarahi.
A funeral service will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Callahan Edfast Mortuary, located at 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, CO 81505.
