Gilbert F. Martinez, Jr., of Grand Junction, CO, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction, CO. Gilbert was 52 years of age. Gilbert was born in Grand Junction, CO on July 19, 1966 to Gilbert F. Martinez, Sr. and Sally Martinez. He is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn Martinez of Grand Junction, CO; mother, Sally Martinez of Caldwell, ID; children, Christopher Martinez of Pueblo, CO, Robby Martinez of Pueblo, CO, Santana Ortega of Grand Junction, CO, Rayleen Perez of San Leandro, CA, and Raymond Ortega of Grand Junction, CO; sister, Tammie Romero of Caldwell, ID; and brother, Rick Martinez of Houston, TX. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Grand Junction, CO at 11:00am.
