Of 27 cousins in the Elliott family , these 5 girls close in age had wonderful times together.  Nadine-Sue- my sister Janet-Joyce-and Nancy (me)

Mom and Dad together again. Dad went home to Christ on November 27,2020 almost 1 year later than mom. Finally home!

Nanette, I am so sorry I am so late in finding out about Nadine's passing. I have tried to get in touch with she or Gary or you for several months. I am a long time friend of Nadine's. Our mothers were life long dearest friends so Nadine and I sort of grew up calling each other cousin since she always called my mother Aunt Belle. Then we met again in High School in North Kansas City where she and Gary became sweethearts. We sang together in the school musicals etc.
Please pass on my condolences to Gary since I have lost contact with him also.

So sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing.  Hang on to all the wonderful memories with her.   You will see her again one day in heaven.

Through the rest of my years on this earth, when I think of Nadine, I will smile.  I always loved her sense of humor.  Many fun times with her and  cousin Gary.

Nanette, I’m so sorry for your loss. It is a great loss, I know. But know that the wonderful memories will envelope the grief. It’s been many years, old friend, but I have my arms open for you, in my thoughts and in my heart. 

Nadine was a wonderful woman! I spent so many sleepovers at the Brown home as a child into my early teens, and it definitely was my home away from home because of Nadine & Gary!! I swear no one could fry chicken better then Nadine, a wonderful cook and so talented in so many ways! She made me feel so welcomed and had a huge influence on me that I didn’t realize until many years into adulthood! Fond memories and  much love for her! My deepest sympathy Gary, Randy, Nanette, Gary and Mark! Much love and so many fond memories!! ❤️

Mom was feisty and opinionated, a great cook, master gardner, had a beautiful alto singing voice and loved to play the piano.  She instilled in her children a love of music, and an appreciation of nature.  But her greatest accomplishment in life was to give her children a Gift beyond measure.  She faithfully took her 4 children to Sunday school and church;  and even to Vacation Bible School in the summers.  Because of her perseverance, all her children have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I know that she is with Him now and is 'resting'  in His perfect peace.  Save a seat at His table for us Mom - we will be along before you know it...          Proverbs 22:6

Mon always loved flowers and her gardens. She liked the dirt between her toes as she weeded her gardens. She was a firecracker at times and had a lot of spunk. She will be missed but i will see her again when I enter into eternity and Christs presence. We all will miss you mom. Rest in peace.
