David "Pops" Steven Jason

David was born April 18th, 1951, in Pittsburg, PA, to Catherine Stocker and Aloysuis Jason. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Landscape Management.

David moved to Colorado in the 1980's to work for Exxon Mobile, working in land reclamation. He also was a builder, building many beautiful homes in the Valley.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, watching his Steelers, camping, drag racing, and spending time with his family.

David is survived by his Sweetie of 29 years, Holly Byers; sisters Janet Tamiggi and Joyce Durr, both of Pittsburgh; Sons Mike Jason, of Fruita, Ben Coon, of Grand Junction, and Nathan Byers, of Clifton; grandchildren McKenna, Ivan, Brady, Paxton, Zarra, and Molly; he is also survived by Todd and Shayla Scherr and many motorcycle brothers and sisters.

Services will be at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on December 30th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. followed with a life celebration at 2227 North 20th Street in Grand Junction.
