Christopher Louis Roybal

Christopher Louis Roybal, age 48 of Fruita, CO, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his home in Fruita, CO. Chris was born on August 6, 1974 in Fruita, CO to Louis Anthony Roybal, Jr., and Josephine Mary Padia Roybal. He was a former resident of Albuquerque, NM and Denver, CO.

Chris’ love for music, concerts, cooking, and anything else that brought his family and friends together was truly his passion and what he lived for. He was always known to drop what he was doing for anyone he knew, to lend his helping hand. Chris left an imprint on everyone he encountered. His ability to listen, educate, and share his wisdom will live on in the many he leaves behind. Most importantly, the love he had for his only son and his only daughter. May they heal and live for him in his memory.

Chris is survived by his loving children, Dominic Roybal and Ashley Roybal; his parents, Louis and Josephine Roybal; his brothers, Patrick Roybal and Gregory Roybal; his sisters, Lisa Ballard and Marianne Roybal; one grandchild, eleven nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews.

A Mass and Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1210 17 ½ Rd., Fruita, CO on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11am. A Rosary service will take place at the church on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 7pm. Interment will follow mass in the Sacred Heart Church Columbarium. A luncheon in honor of Chris will follow the burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church reception hall.
