A service is 10 a.m., Friday at Grand Junction Seventh Day Adventist Church. Interment follows at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Survivors include two brothers, Curtis of De Beque and Gordon of Tucson, Arizona; and two sisters, Glenda Simonson of Grand Junction and Vinita Biddle of Denver.

March 31, 1955 - August 17, 2014

Chris Eric Strain, formerly of Clifton, passed away Sunday, August 17, in Grand Junction after a brief illness. The youngest child of Charles and Bette Strain of Clifton, Chris was born on March 31, 1955, in Grand Junction and is survived by his siblings, Glenda Simonson of Grand Junction; Gordon Strain of Tucson; Vinita Biddle of Denver; Curtis Strain of Debeque; and their families.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2014, at the Grand Junction Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 730 Mesa Avenue, followed by interment at Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made to HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction.
