Survivors include one son, Marvin Fitzsimmons of Grand Junction; three daughters, Marcee Oelkhers of Castle Rock, Marlys LaForest of Centennial and Margie Masoner of Highlands Ranch; one brother, John Maddox of Sandy, Utah; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

February 23, 1930 - June 5, 2016

Carolyn Fitzsimmons of Grand Junction, formerly of Denver, died June 5th, after a short illness.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle.

She is survived by four children, Marcee Oehlkers (Mike) of Castle Rock; Marlys LaForest (Paul) of Centennial; Marvin Fitzsimmons (Tillie) of Grand Junction, and Margie Masoner (David Presnell) of Highlands Ranch; brother, John Maddux (Helen) of Sandy, Utah, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services to be held later.
