Carl Wayne Jeffers

Carl Wayne Jeffers, 86, Was peacefully called home to Jesus on Friday, October 14, 2022, with his family by his side. Carl was born April 28, 1936, in Mattoon, Illinois to Melvin and Agnes Wade Jeffers. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Hall in 1955. Carl retired from Caterpillar Inc., of Decatur, IL in 1986. Mary Lou and Carl then relocated to Phoenix AZ for a warmer climate to continue their adventures in life. Carl was a very upstanding, protective, loyal, and loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Melvin and Agnes Wade Jeffers, Brothers; Bud Jeffers & Derald Jeffers, Sisters; Sharon Monroe and Ruby Kersey, wife; Mary Lou Jeffers and Son; John Wayne Jeffers.

He is survived by Sister; Francis Brower of Phoenix Az; Daughter; Sandy (Jerry) Dowd of Palisade, CO; Grandchildren; Bryon Jeffers of Littleton, CO; Marci Dowd of Denver, CO; Kelsi (Brian) Boland of Rapid City SD, and Joseph Jeffers of Littleton, CO. Great-Grandchildren; Alexandra Dowd of Las Vegas, NV, Johnathon Boland, Scott Boland, and Bria Boland of Rapid City SD, and several aunts, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

Family and friends are welcome to join the Interment Ceremony that will be held at Desert Hills Presbyterian Church, 34605 N. Tom Darlington Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85266 on November 26, 2022, at 1:00pm
