I knew Betty when we were both at UT Austin. She was an affectionate and wonderfully kind woman, who made me, a foreign student new to Texas in the late 80s, feel most welcome. We had long conversations, and she was unfailingly supportive and encouraging. I regret we lost touch after she moved to California in the early 90s. May she rest in peace. I will remember her most fondly indeed.

Betty was a dear friend of mine while working at UT Austin.  She was a very smart lady who loved to laugh, dance, read and talk about psychology.  She is missed and loved.
