Becky was born on July 28, 1969, in Orofino, Idaho, to John C. and Pat (Stickens) Heinecke. She spent her childhood in Orofino, playing softball and racing BMX bikes and motorcycles. She grew up playing on Huckleberry Butte, fishing on Whiskey Creek, and running the back trails with her brothers, sisters, and cousins. She loved spending time in nature, especially in the mountains. During her adulthood, Becky worked as a welder, remodeler, and drywall finisher. She was especially proud of the construction business she owned with her husband, Marten, whom she married in 2007. Her passion for the outdoors lasted throughout her life, in her free time you could find her fishing, swimming, camping, off-roading, horseback riding, or just sitting around a bonfire. She also enjoyed crochet, playing horseshoes, dice, and cards. Becky had a way with words, and wrote the most beautiful poetry. She would always share her knowledge and experience with anyone willing to listen. Her favorite saying was, “I love you always and forever, no matter what”. Becky leaves a legacy of love, and will be missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her.
To carry on that legacy, Becky leaves behind her husband, Marten Anderson of Allenspark, Colorado; son, Andy Lee Philip Heinecke of Loveland; daughters, Shayne Heinecke of Grand Junction, and Mariah RaeAnne Heinecke of Watford City, North Dakota; three grandchildren, Anthony, Aidan, and Austin; brothers, Jeffrey Heinecke of Kinsal, North Dakota, Dr. Joseph Heinecke of Grand Junction, James Reynolds of Clifton, and Gary Stevens of Smith Station, Alabama; sisters, Sara Heinecke of Orofino, Idaho, Trishia Hill and Heather Heinecke, both of Grand Junction, and Tammy Caipen of Andrews, Texas; her nephew, Richard Aiden Haubach, and many other nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, John Heinecke and Timothy Stevens.
Private family services will be held.
You loved to adventure,
With your feet on the ground
And your head in the clouds.
We’d walk through the forest
To see all the beauty and hear
All the sounds.
We would sit by the fire,
And we would talk about it all.
And Mom, I admire that you would always
Walk tall.
I think of us swimming through life’s
Churning waters.
I know you love us very much,
Your sons and daughters.
Our Copenhagen Angel.
