Adrian A. "Gus" Stuart April 12, 1912 – October 3, 2013 Gus was born in Beech Creek, KY in 1912 to John B. and Lanora (Craig) Stuart. He was raised in Pueblo, CO. He married Louise Bantley on September 5, 1936, in Montrose, CO, and they moved to Grand Junction in 1940. Gus worked for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad for 37 years and retired in 1978. He and his wife, Louise, spent winters in Mission, TX, where he took up bowling. He was a member of the BPOE Elks for 75 years. He is preceded in death by wife, Louise; parents, John B. and Lanora, and grandson, Michael Stuart. He is survived by son, Adrian (Ami) Stuart; daughter, Kathryn Goodale; grandchildren, Monte Goodale, Mark (Cheryl) Goodale, Debbie Goodale, Sherri Warnke, Lori (Tim) Michie, and Donald (Olga) Stuart; great-grandchildren, Sakae Warnke, Michael Stuart, Seth Warnke, Sara Michie, Sarah Warnke, and Melina Michie, and a cousin, Robert Craig. He was in Hospice Care at Larchwood Inns. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to HopeWest Hospice.
