Born Thursday, December 30, 1971 in Vancouver, Washington to Carl & Rita Kannas, Tammy attended High School in Battle Ground, Washington.
In 1991, then 19 year old, Tammy Kannas married Michael Boyer in Baker Cabin, Oregon.
To know Tammy was to know she could not resist rescuing animals and thoroughly enjoyed children – ‘she was the neighborhood Mom’ – all the local kids were always welcome to hang out at her home.
Even greater than Tammy’s love of Reeses Chocolate “yes - that is possible”, was her love of her family! Tammy reveled in playing jokes on her children, participating in their epic water fights – outside and inside the house, pumpkin seed wars and aiding and abetting the children to frequently ambush their Dad – Mike when he came home after work.
Tammy is profoundly loved and missed by her husband of 51 years: Michael Boyer; children: Joshua “Josh” Boyer, Jacob Boyer, Tiffany Boyer and Hannah Kanass ; mother: Rita Kannas and the many others whom Tammy welcomed into her home and heart as family.
Tammy is preceded in death by her father: Carl Kannas and her brother: Tim Kannas.
Tammy’s Memorial / Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday September 23rd, 2023 at Coulee Dam Community Church, 509 Central Drive, Coulee Dam, WA 99116.
