Born to Katie Rustemeyer and Jerry Farnsworth, Mike was a kind-hearted man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a genuine and caring person who made friends easily. Despite being an awkward social butterfly, he never let that stop him from spreading his love and kindness. Mike was a gentle soul, and everyone who knew him loved him.
Mike's early years were spent on his grandparent's farm, where he developed a love for rodeos and farm animals. He enjoyed watching Days Of Our Lives, wrestling and football, especially his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Mike also loved anything to do with Elvis or Johnny Cash. He enjoyed sitting and reminiscing about memories, especially of his childhood. Mike loved a good party with friends and family and always made sure he was the last man standing. Towards the end of his life, Mike enjoyed being out on his best friend's farm, feeding the cows and chickens, and watching the hummingbirds. Mike loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Nichole (Miles) Brown of Spokane, WA, his son, Derek (Aimee) Farnsworth of Chattaroy, WA, and his grandchildren, Tyler and Myra. He is also survived by his best friend, Cassandra (Michael) of Elmer City, WA, and his siblings, Jerri, Karen, Gary, Steve and Kelly, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A special thanks to his sweet cousin Tammy, a true angel and gift from God for being such an amazing support to dad in his final months. Although they are no longer together, we would also like to include some special people: former wife Diane, daughter Meggan (Scott) and son Michael, along with grandchildren Skyler, Koby, Wyatt and Cheyanna. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Roullier, his father, Jerry Farnsworth, and numerous other loved ones.
Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind heart and infectious personality will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel Saturday July 15, 2023 at 1:30pm to celebrate Mike's life.
