Scott James Markee

MARKEE, Scott James – age 54 of Grand Blanc, MI passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 1PM-4PM & 6PM-8PM. Visitation will also take place on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 10AM-12PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 12PM at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Scott was born in Flint, MI on October 10, 1961 to James and Delores (Edgcombe) Markee. He attended Elmer A. Knopf Learning Center from which he graduated in 1988. Scott loved watching sports of all kinds. He enjoyed fishing and often did this while traveling to the Everglades, spending the summers in Michigan, and the winters in Florida with his parents. Scott also enjoyed playing slot machines and bowling. He participated in the Special Olympics for several years. Surviving are his parents, James and Delores Markee; brother, Rick (Kelli) Markee; niece, Kara Markee, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Keith and Becky Edgcombe, and Alvy and Louise Markee.
