Ruth H. Fein, Age 93 of Saginaw, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Hoyt Nursing Centre in Saginaw. Ruth was born in Saginaw, February 26, 1917, daughter of William and Elsie (Hauman) Koepke. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she remained very active and taught as a Sunday school teacher. She married Louis Fein June 14, 1939 and together they raised a family. Mrs. Fein was a homemaker who was devoted to her family. Left to cherish her memory, Children, David and Nanette Fein of Freeland, Daniel and Lori Fein of Saginaw and Sally Fein of Midland; Grandchildren, Leah Fein Zerbe of Saginaw, Rachel (Andrew) Wise of Monroe, Eric (Melissa) Fein of Plainwell, Sarah (Pastor John) Bortulin of Plymouth, Nebraska, Matthew (Serenity) Scott of Grand Rapids, Stacy (Justin) Shrum of New Ulm, Minnesota, Timothy (Kelley) Scott of Saginaw and 21 great grandchildren; Sister, Lenore (C.M.) Miller of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis Fein and brother, William C. Koepke. A special thanks to all Ruth’s family at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre for all the love and care for the past 9 years. Visitation Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Oakwood Mausoleum, Saginaw from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In State Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Saginaw until Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Carl Otto officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be addressed to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre.
