Ronald Duane Hodges

HODGES,RONALD D. age 78, of Flushing, MI., died Saturday evening, February 22, 2014 at the Ovid Healthcare Center, with family by his side. He was born July 8, 1935, in Marion Twp., MI. to Rosco and Lottie (Burch) Hodges. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clarence, Stanley and Howard Hodges and sister Arlene Miller. Ron is survived by his sisters Alberta Anderson and Ruby (Howard) Cain, his son Kevin (Sheila) Hodges, daughter Rhonda Hodges, three grandchildren, Nora, Gus, Margie, and many nephews and nieces. Ron was an Army veteran and a 42 year General Motors employee. He enjoyed family gatherings, genealogy, playing cards and guitar, Amateur Radio (K8XN), following the Detroit Tigers and the assembly or repair of almost anything. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Burial services will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 12:30P.M. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Friday.
