St., Grand Blanc, MI. Ronald was born March 13, 1928 in Pontiac, MI to

parents, Charles and Blanche (Scharf) Drake. Ronald married Marjorie

Burrill, June 25, 1949 at Grace Lutheran Church in Pontiac, MI, having 61

years of wedded bliss. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Ronald

retired from Pontiac Motors Engineering Division in 1982 after 34 years of

service. He served as a Trustee for the Pontiac Township Board for 8 years

and as Supervisor on the Oxford Planning Board for several years. Ronald

was a fisherman, hunter and loved to go boating on Lake Huron. Surviving

are wife Marjorie; children Brenda (Dan) Rollin of Ortonville, MI, Steve

(Renee) Drake of Okemos, MI; grandchildren Audra (David) Taylor, Aaron

Dillon, Nick Drake, Tiffani (Damien) Strieff, Jason (Nicole) Rollin,

Michelle Mills; great-grandchildren Paige Dillon, Maxwell Taylor, Jaden

Strieff, Christian Rollin; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by

daughter Melinda Joyce Drake in 1951; parents and sister Mildred Aldrich.
