Robert B. Dorey

Robert B. Dorey, Sr. age 81 of Saginaw, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Robert was born on August 30, 1934 in Saginaw to parents Lawrence E. and Helen L. (Stelter) Dorey. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He later retired from Bushey Radiator. Robert enjoyed feeding the neighborhood squirrels, but he most enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Robert is survived by his children: Robert B. Jr. (Kathy) Dorey, Mark A. Dorey, Richard J. (Jodi) Dorey, Tricia L. (Matt) Hoefling, and Tracy Anderson; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers: Lawrence (Sharon) Dorey, Michael (Cathy) Dorey; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by both parents; wife, Darlene M. Dorey; daughter, Mary Helen Wolfgang; siblings: Jerry Dorey, Janet Gawrysiak. A memorial service will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum (5950 Gratiot Rd., Saginaw). The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1pm. Those who desire may make a memorial contribution to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
