Monty Andy Markee

Monty was born on December 13th, 1953 at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint, Michigan to Nancy Griffin and Aaron Markee. Monty was a jack of all trades, from selling watermelons roadside, commercial fishing for tuna, carpentry and handyman services throughout his life. He enjoyed a good joke and always made it his mission to make people smile and laugh. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends, fishing and thrift store shopping. Monty's favorite time was spent with his granddaughter, EllaKay who he referred to as papa's princess and angel.

Monty was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Griffin; his father Aaron Markee; stepmother, Margaret; his brothers Bobby, Larry, and James; his sisters Toni and Polly; his brother in law Dean and grandson Jon.

Monty is survived by his four daughters, Rebecca, Tabitha, Shannda and Stephanie, his significant other Pamela Ashenden; his sister Jane Lee (Paul); his sister Joy Fraley; his sister Pansy King (Dean); his sister Nina Markee; his sister Joann Hall (Sammie); his brother Ronnie Markee; his sister Sally Ceslick (Dan); and his brother Johnny Griffin (Stephanie); his stepfather Donald Griffin; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; favorite niece and many friends.
