LESTER, Marlin Leroy, age 77, of Davison, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at Brian’s House in Davison. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc. Interment to follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Brian’s House or to the family. Marlin was born on January 23, 1935 in Pontiac, son of the late Roy and Fannie Mae Lester. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from G.M. Fisher Body-Coldwater Road plant following 31 years of service. He took great pride in caring for his lawn and enjoyed visiting the casinos. Marlin is survived by his children Veronica Lester of Brownsville, TX, Adam Lester of Flint, Miranda Lester of Davison, Cassidy (Brian) Criss of Imlay City, and Ferna (Hector) Cardona of Guatemala. Also survived by grandchildren Adam Lester, Jr, Bailey Cardona, Giovandi Cardona, Noah Webb, Dakota Lester and David Criss as well as his special cat Lucy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Natalie Lester, sisters Mary Compeau and Rosalie Hopkins, and a brother Richard Lester.
