Marjorie C. Hendrix

HENDRIX, Marjorie C. – Age 87, of Flint, died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. Mrs. Hendrix was born May 11, 1927 in Flint the daughter of William and Mable James. Marjorie enjoyed knitting, crocheting and she was a huge NASCAR fan. She retired from General Motors and was a member of the U.A.W. Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Sue Richard; grandchildren, Van W. (Tara) Hendrix, of Goodrich, Jason James Hendrix of Flint; great grandchildren, Jessica, Julia, Justin, Mallory, Samantha; brother, William R.C. James of Colorado; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Van F. Hendrix in 2003, son, Van W. Hendrix, sisters, Patricia Demski and Mary Pascoe. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday July 26, 2014 at the funeral home.
