Marie T. Whipps

Marie T. (Beaudette) Whipps, age 91, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018. She was born on August 3, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland to parents Philip and Margaret (Butler) Beaudette. Marie devoted herself to her volunteer work – most recently volunteering at Genesys Regional Medical Center. She was effervescent and colorful, and anyone who had the chance to meet her would never forget her. Marie is survived by her daughters, Susan (Norm) Purdy and Karen (Robert) Wiltz; five remarkable grandchildren: Jennifer (Tony) Mundo, Jeffrey (Monica) Purdy, Brent (Nina) Wiltz, Bradley (Liza) Wiltz, and Karaline (Chad) Huenink; 14 adorable great grandchildren; beloved friends and family; nieces: Beth Ann, Babette, Bernadette, and Loretta; special friends, Peggy and Sally. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Earl Whipps; and sister, Helen Lauer. The family would like to give special thanks to the Swank Home for their continuous care and support. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the local Alzheimer’s Association. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Father Tom Nenneau celebrating. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 6-8pm at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, and again on Monday at church beginning at 10am.
