Margaret Joan Short, age 92, of Grand Blanc, Michigan passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
Margaret was born February 11, 1932, in Dearborn Michigan to her late parents Paul and Olga Paraluck. Margaret grew up in Dearborn and graduated from Dearborn High School. In 1951 Margaret married Robert John Short, a Korean War Veteran. They were married for 59 wonderful years before his passing in 2010. Margaret enjoyed going to the casinos with her family and friends. Margaret was also a long-time member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Goodrich. She spent a lot of her time throughout the years as a volunteer at American House Senior Living Facility, hospitals, and churches to name a few.
Margaret is survived by her children Sharon, Robert (Anna), and Dale (Donna) Short; Grandchildren Ashley (Brian), Robert (Samantha), Dillon, and Derek (Lanae); great-grandchildren Adalynn and Robert.
Preceded by husband Robert Short; and sisters Anne and Genevieve.
