FLAGG, Jean Amber – age 89 of Flint Twp. Passed away Wednesday August 6, 2014 at Heritage Manor Healthcare Center. Visitation will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday August 13, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI 48439. A memorial service will take place at 3:00PM. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Jean was born September 11, 1924 in Flint, MI to Isaac and Augusta (VonDestinon) Weishuhn. She worked for many years for Mead Containers. Jean enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and fishing. She also loved to take trips to the casino and playing Bingo. Pudgy the dog was her faithful companion for many years. Surviving are her daughter, Jacqueline Durant; grandchildren, John Jr. (Terinda) Miller, Joseph (Charlene) Miller, Trina (Scott) Chappell, Robert Wirsing, Amber Wirsing, Tonya (Matt) Miller, and many other special grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her great-granchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Augusta Weishuhn; son, Larry Wirsing; grandson, James Wirsing; and special friend, Gerald Kettler.
