Jan was a dear friend, and such a caring and thoughtful "adopted mom."  I could sit with her for hours, planning our gardens, making chili, and having cocktails. We will miss her so much. -Neighbors, Dena Krishnan & Shawn Wilson

Jan was a wonderful person.  She was always positive and supportive of everyone.  She really loved her family, friends and grandkids.  Every time we attended a Jan Simon function she forced us to bring home enough food for a week.  You are loved, missed, but never forgotten.

The Youngs (Dayton) send out sincerest sypathy on the passing of a wonderful person in Jan.  We only had the pleasure of seeing her a few times over the past several years....but that was plenty of time to know what kind of person she was.  Did she have any energy or what?  How about caring for EVERYONE she came in contact with?  Was she ever not smiling?  Courage...most people wish they had one tenth of what she possessed.  She was an inspiration to everyone she knew or met.  We consider ourselves lucky to have known her.  So keep those great memories of her and always know she will be looking down on you all....she loved her family sooooo much!!   Love, Dan and the Youngs..

This family wont be the same without Mom's laugh and love! I am blessed to have known her and know that i am blessed to be a part of her legacy. Her  Children and Grandchildren were her world and adore her as much! 
No one ever starved at Mom's house, two or three dishes to choose from at a time. Mom was a special lady and I cannot wait to see her and talk to her again at the right hand of our Lord Jesus. We are all so glad to know she is at peace but will never ever forget what she meant to us and some lessons she taught us.

Memories are what will remind me to drink in the sights of my garden everyday - feed anyone who walks near my door and live every day and every moment like it will be my last... I know you're my newest angel in Heaven AJ... I'm glad you're there watching over me as usual...

Jan was like a really fun big sister-who gave me hugs and gave me hell when I needed it.
She will be missed, but is now at peace and out of pain.

Brian, As you know they don't make them like Janet anymore. I sure will miss her tasty food dishes, hearing about the latest good book, or talking about all the work on the backyard. I'm also sure Janet and Pete are both discussing who gets to "cook first" in heaven for the day. May Peace be with you and your family.

The Lord took her much too soon but I know she is around the throne with Jesus.  Her pain and cancer are gone and she is whole and complete again.  Rest well sis and we'll all be seeing you and the folks and Barb and Judy.
