Janet Mathenia

MATHENIA, JANET age 81, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc. Janet worked as an assembler at AC Spark Plug, and volunteered for The United Way. A memorial service will be held at the First Metaphysical Church of Davison, 8267 E. Atherton Rd. Davison, Mi. 48423 on February 22 at 2pm with Reverend Connie Lundy officiating. Janet is survived by her husband: Ken; son: Glen (Susan) Gothard; sisters: Barb Wolfe and Karen Murphy; grandchildren: Carrie (Marvin) Bivens, Tony (Misty) Gothard, Leah (David) Bryant, Alex Gothard, Tyler Jeakle; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gordon Grammatico and Alice Secor; son: David Gothard; step-daughter: Antionette Mathenia; brother: Paul Grammatico; sisters: Jeanne Moore, Gail Boyce; granddaughter: Miranda Bivens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The United Way of Genesee County, or to the Red Cross of Michigan.
