James Robert Proctor

Rapids Home for Veterans. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday,

June 9, 2011 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc,

MI. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from

2:00 to 8:00 P.M. James was born May 16, 1934 in Flint, MI to parents

Robert and Elsie Marion (Williams) Proctor. James worked in the family

business (Proctor Brothers Furniture and Appliance) for many years till it

closed and he later retired from Citizens Bank Loan Department. Surviving

are children Robert (Sherry) Proctor of Waxhaw, NC., Michelle (Brian)

Kilian of Livonia, MI.; grandchildren Joy Proctor, Michael Proctor,

Rebecca Kilian, Andrew Kilian; several dear cousins. Contributions may be made in Jame's name to the Alzheimer's Association or the Grand Rapids Home For Veterans 1 Blue, 3000 Monroe NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. Condolences may be
