Jack Burrows, age 82, passed away on June 18, 2021 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Jack was born on September 29, 1938 in Goodrich, Michigan to the late Harvey and Mary Irene Burrows. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1955-1958 aboard the USS Kennedy and USS Wagner. He married the love of his life, Joann in June 1965 and they enjoyed 38 wonderful years together until her passing in 2003. Jack retired from the Flint Community School District after 30 years of service. In his younger years, he enjoyed racing stock cars, deer hunting, fishing and gardening. Jack was creative with his hands, he could build and create tools he needed on the fly as he was always working on a project. Later in life, Jack loved to travel the United States but most of all he enjoyed every moment spent with his family and friends. Jack was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his children: Tracie, Jack II, Doug (Debi); siblings: Jerry (Nancy), Joyce and Ruthann; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann; children: Susan, Richard, Scharry and Larry; sister, Denise; grandson, Michael and great granddaughters Faith and Ava. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 4pm-8pm at Hill Funeral Home - 11723 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1pm with one hour visitation prior to the service at Hill Funeral Home. Pastor Lance Fischer will officiate.
