Willhelm, Gregory Wayne – age 53 of Grand Rapids passed away Monday, September 1, 2014. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at Saturday September 20, 2014 from 1:00PM-4:00PM at the American Legion, Post #413 - 375 E. Grand Blanc Rd. Grand Blanc, Mi 48439.. Greg was born in Flint, MI to Bufford and Mary (Holder) Willhelm. He spent his life working as a skilled carpenter. Greg’s greatest pride in his life was his daughter Allison. He never missed the opportunity to help someone in need. He will be loved and missed by many. Greg is survived by his siblings; Joan (Ted) Gipson, Sheri Christensen, Diane (Dave) Ocenasek, Glen (Dayna) Willhelm, Teresa (Curt) Davis, and Bo (Angie) Willhelm, very special people; Cathy Allen and Art Greene, and many nieces and nephews left to his legacy. He was preceded in death by his parents. Although Greg left this earth far too soon, he will never be forgotten.
