Gerald "Jerry" Anderson

Gerald "Jerry" Duane Anderson passed away August 11, 2023 surrounded by his immediate family. Jerry was born in Detroit on March 11, 1939 to his parents Dorothy and Gordon Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shawn, and his children, Stephan, Michael, Jennifer, and Mark. He was preceded in death by his son Matthew and his sister., Beverly. He had 10 wonderful grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart.

Jerry spent his career in the electronics industry. After his retirement, he served for 7 years as Warehouse Manager for Hospitality House Food Pantry in Commerce MI. He loved helping others and gave freely of his time and energy. He was also a Meals on Wheels driver in Fort Myers FL.

Jerry was an athlete and sports enthusiast. He was a skilled golfer and played hockey well into his 60's. He was a true Red Wing fan, watching every possible game he could fit into his schedule.

Cremation has taken place and a Private Memorial will be held at a later date.
