Frieda Beverly Diehl

DIEHL, Frieda "Beverly" - Of Burton, age 99, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Ypsilanti, MI. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 S. Genesee Road, Burton, Pastor Mark Matheny officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Luncheon at the church at 1pm following the services. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church or a Charity of one's choice. Beverly was born in Flint, MI on August 18, 1924, daughter of the late Thomas and Laona (Jones) Roberts. She married Berkley Diehl on July 12, 1958. Frieda was a member of Calvary and Pilgrim Lutheran Churches. She graduated from Flint Northern and was employed at Chevrolet as a Secretary for 20 years. Beverly is survived by daughters Karen (Greg) Brand, Laurie (Bradley) Silvester; grandchildren, Kristin and Justin Brand, Ryan and Jordan Silvester; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sharon Hall and Betty Pfieffer and brothers, David, Mahlon, William and Charles Roberts.
