PETERS, Emily Jim, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Dallas, Texas, age 95, Died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center, Grand Blanc. A Memorial Service will be held 11 am Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesys Hospice. Emily was born on July 31, 1914 in Greenville, Texas, daughter of the late James and Emily Margaret (Johnsey) Wilkerson. She is survived by her daughter JoAnn (Reese) Stipes of Grand Blanc, granddaughters Shelley Stipe and Marcey (Jeffrey) Lutton, both of Grand Blanc, and great granddaughters Katie and Meg Lutton. Also survived by dear great nieces Cindy McDaniel and Sherri Pickens. She was preceded in death by her husband Clint Peters, special niece Georgina Chapman, one brother and one sister.
