Edwina Rose Rogers

Rogers, Edwina Rose - Of Burton, age,89, passed away peacefully, Wednesday August 10, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the Hill Funeral Home,11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor D. Joey Graves officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 15, 2022 from 1-7PM and Tuesday August 16, from 1-2:00PM.

Edwina was born March 2, 1933 in Flint, Mi to Louis and Phyllis (Reynolds) Bohnard. She had a great sense of humor and was fun to joke around with. She was a great cook and made all the meals for the holidays for the family for many years. She took pride in keeping a spotless clean home and she loved going to the senior dances, where she had many friends. She was very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dog mom to her little dog, Misty.

Surviving are daughters, Gaye Rogers of Flint, Catherine (Mike) Rogers-Schell of Burton: grandchildren; Krista (Jason) Sturgeon, Jennifer (Kristopher) Traxler, great- grandson; Tucker (Brittney) Reese, Cory Woods, Jacob Traxler, step granddaughter; kayleigh Traxler, special nephew; Don Doutre Jr,: many other nieces and nephews and her dog Misty. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Gary Rogers, the love of her life, her parents, Louis and Phyllis and her 3 brothers: Edward (twin), Louis and Barry, and her best friend Delores Glasco.
